A Travellerspoint blog

Day 21

After a long breakfast in the camp kitchen, where we met nice people from Portugal and Holland, we packed up the tent and headed for Aure. This was a shorter trip since we had paddled very far the two previous days and were in need of a lighter load on our aching arms and backs. We were also running low on lunch and snack foods. We contacted the Aure Guesthouse and became fast friends with the manager who is also an avid kayaker. He knew where we could come onto land, and he even picked us up and drove us to the charming B&B. It was easy to spot his car, with two kayaks on top. It was nice strolling into town to the local Italian cafe for dinner.
