Days 25, 26, and 27
09.06.2022
Three days waiting for the winds to subside, but lots to do and see here at the campsite. We were ecstatic when we found a pay-per-use bathroom and shower a five minute walk from our camp. We met nice cabin people in the area who offered to drive us to the nearest grocery store. We couldn't say no, but our original plan was disrupted and we missed our chance at the all-you-can-eat pizza night at the only cafe anywhere around. After walking an hour back to camp with the heavy groceries we finally got tired, so we hitch-hiked with friendly local gentlemen. We were quite busy watching the changing of the guards of the ring-plower birds, sitting on 4 eggs. One tragic morning we awoke to an empty nest...fox or crow??? We played on the beach, skipping stones and making drawings out of corals. The eagles visited us twice. Can't wait to get back in the boats early tomorrow morning!
Heia, heia!
